After graduating high school, Scott Burgmeier joined the United States Navy and served his country for two years. Following his Navy stint, he worked as a furniture mover before joining Globe Life Liberty National Division in 2015.

What brought him to Globe Life Liberty National Division? “It was the opportunity for advancement, the income potential, and the ability to help people. Helping people grow in their careers and in their personal development has been the most rewarding aspect of joining the Company,” says Scott. “But my greatest personal accomplishment,” continues Scott, “is my promotion to Regional Agency Director in less than two years. If I could start over with Globe Life Liberty National Division,” he adds, “the only change I would make would be to focus sooner on becoming an Agency Owner.”

“I believe my Agency will offer opportunities to hard workers to prove they are worth much more than they have made in the past. Our Globe Life Liberty National Division products allow us to provide financial protection and peace of mind for working families,” says Scott, “and our Agency participates in contests that raise money for local, not-for-profit organizations that help the community.”

Helping others seems to be in Scott’s DNA. “I enjoy volunteering at local events. I also enjoy being able to help those in my neighborhood who are not able to do things themselves,” he says. “I love being outdoors, spending time with my family, and fixing and building things like hardscapes,” he adds.

Scott has excellent advice for anyone considering joining the Liberty National Division family. “Get rid of any ‘Plan B’. Concentrate only on ‘Plan A’. No one ever regrets doing their best,” he emphasizes.

After studying at Greenville Technical College in Greenville, SC, where he majored in marketing, Bernard Blassingame was ready to move into the business world.  Before joining Liberty National Life Insurance Company (LNL) in 2004, he ran his own successful janitorial business.  But when Bernard was ready for a career change, the opportunity to join the Liberty National team was irresistible. “I was enticed to join LNL because of the opportunity the Company offered.  Being named Director of the Year is my biggest personal accomplishment with Liberty National, but what’s most rewarding for me is being able to help others, whether it’s my team members or the policyholders we protect,” says Bernard proudly.

What makes Bernard uniquely qualified to be an Agency Owner?  “I was previously an Agency Owner several years ago, and I want to step into that role again to give others the same kind of career opportunity I’ve had,” he emphasizes.  “This is truly a career in which you get back what you put into it,” he adds.
When not working, Bernard enjoys spending time with his two dogs, cooking up a good steak, and listening to some smooth jazz.
