Before joining Liberty National Division, Monet Virella graduated from Spelman College in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in science. Monet became a teacher after her graduation, but in 2015 she decided to start a career at Liberty National Division. “What enticed me to join our Company was the fact that this is an opportunity of a lifetime. I realized I could go anywhere with this opportunity. I had no limits or boundaries. As long as I put in the work and had a structure, nothing would be able to hold me back,” she says.
Was this the best decision for Monet? “Yes,” she says. “It allows people an opportunity to be outside of the average income and be able to experience more than they’d thought they could. Learn our system. Work our system. It’s a simple process, but work hard, stay positive, and trust the process.” Monet explains that in addition to her personal growth, the most rewarding part of her career at Liberty National Division is “the opportunity of helping individuals during their time of need and providing solutions for them they didn’t even know existed.”
Some of Monet’s greatest accomplishments at Liberty National Division include “being the top case closer my first year in the Phelps Agency.” She adds, “When I moved into a home office, I was the lead trainer within a year for the Worksite Training team. I was able to lead that team during the onset of the pandemic and create tools our Company could use to continue functioning successfully. Also, during my first year as Regional Director of Sales and Recruiting, I was able to obtain Director of the Month within 10 months of being in the new role.”
In Monet’s free time she enjoys “travel and experiencing new cultures, sceneries, and events.” In her community, Monet supports various organizations. “I support breast cancer and colon cancer organizations, foster children events, and helping in homeless shelters for battered women and children,” she says.
