“Before I joined Liberty National Life Insurance Company (LNL) in 2016, I studied at Colorado State University, where I received my degree in Business Management with a minor in Human Resources. I also was newly retired from the federal government. But after six months of retirement, I was ready to rejoin the workforce,” recalls Sonia Brown.
“I was enticed to join Liberty National by an LNL associate. When she told me her story, I realized I wanted to be just like her. I wanted to become an Agency Leader to inspire others and be more involved in the decision-making process. I believe my ability to positively influence others uniquely qualifies me for this position. I give constructive feedback and show appreciation for hard work. In addition, I listen to what people say and what they don’t say,” says Sonia, “and I have a strong motivation to lead. In addition, I fully appreciate the value of Liberty National products. They are there for people when they need them the most. When I completed my first death claim, I truly realized how much our products help people,” she adds.
Sonia takes pride in what she’s achieved with Liberty National. “My greatest accomplishments with LNL are being named the number three Agency Director in 2018, and a SEAL team member in 2019. But what’s most rewarding about being with this great Company is learning from a diverse group of people and the amazing opportunities for advancement,” says Sonia. “If I could start over, I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m very happy with my progress within LNL, “she emphasizes.

Sonia is very involved with Breast Cancer Awareness organizations and tries to participate in the Susan B. Komen Race for the Cure each year. Her Agency also participates in local charitable activities.
In her leisure time, Sonia enjoys reading, with true crime books being her favorite. She also enjoys playing games on her IPad and spending time with her dogs, Sophie and Kebbles.
